✨🖤Just a few amazing courses I am SO EXCITED to start! Incredible that our nonprofit is able to benefit from such great learning material at Owl Learning Center. I have barely scratched the surface here. Meet MAMA 🖤🐈‍⬛ before the creation of our nonprofit, we took her in. The sweetest girl ever, she even gives HUGS 😻 and is a huge talker. (Usually at night at our door) and was the first to approach the new baby 😻 My MIL found her and took her in because she looked like she was about to POP. She had her babies, and because my MIL is a super woman, she was able to find all of the cutest kittens ever wonderful homes!! When we met her, she came straight to me and my girl and we just KNEW she was meant to be ours. 🖤🐈‍⬛ We didn’t know what her name was, we think she had been on the street her whole life but was ready to be in ours! We started calling her Mama because she was pregnant and she seemed to love it!!! So it stuck. We love her ❤️ #rescue #lovecatsforever #blackcat #nonprofit #meowhouse

These were the first words I said to my husband before I unloaded all the shower ideas of what is now the by-laws of Cats & Coffee Rescue.

Because all I want in the grand scheme (of… I don’t know all of it?) is to build a space with people who love cats, just as we do and need a little help. Whether they are restarting from scratch, looking for a better life, or are just wanting to support the members in our community by donating what you can. I believe everyone deserves access to quality items that may have been out of reach due to a high price point. Call me radical, but freely donated items should remain free. Which is why all second-hand items are free. People>Profit

Over the 2 years I have been building this nonprofit, the mission keeps evolving into more. Opening a caring community third space with goals of assisting our community needs (as we can), and advocating for humans and cats alike.

In a time of rampant careless-ness, I want to be someone that intentionally, compassionately and lovingly cares about the most vulnerable in our community and providing a safe third place for all, so we are starting small- with a few rescues, an online thrift shop, and big dreams for the future.
