These were the first words I said to my husband before I unloaded all the ideas of what is now the foundation of Cats & Coffee Rescue.

Because all I want in the grand scheme (of… I don’t know all of it?) is to build a space with people who love cats, love people and want to help those in need.

In a time of rampant careless-ness, I want to be someone that intentionally, compassionately and lovingly cares about the most vulnerable in our community and providing a safe third place for all, so we are starting small- with a few rescues, an online thrift shop, and big dreams for the future.

Whether you are restarting from scratch, love thrifting, love cats and are just wanting to support the members in our community by donating what you can, you are in the right place.

‍ ‍I believe everyone deserves access to quality items that may have been out of reach due to a high price point.

Call me radical, but freely donated items should remain free. Which is why all second-hand items in our shop are free. People>Profit always.

Over the 2 years I have been building this nonprofit, the mission keeps evolving into more. Opening a caring community third space with goals of assisting our community needs (as we can), and advocating for humans and cats alike.
